Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 15, 2009 3:23 pm Hi all, I have built a house with a 450 wall stud spacing and requested the builder to ensure that the roof trusses were also set at 450 centers so as to ensure they sit dorectly on top of the studs - so far so good. Now its time to install the heating and cooling - guess what: the units that were supposed to be installed , do not enter the roof space becuase of the truss spacing being 450 centers. The blame game has not yet begun as the 2 of us and the heating specialist are approaching this in very pro-active manner. But having said that, I can sense a bit of frustration welling up and its only a matter of time before the game begins - I do hope the manufacturer/installer can come up with a solution befor that though The living areas are 23 squares (214 square meters) in area.
