Our site test came back pretty good. No rock, no fall but there was some clay. Our total site costs came in at $0 (ZERO), however we did need to upgrade to a HD waffle slab at a total cost of $5,975 over the standard M class slab. We're in stage 1, lot 16 so things may vary for you. I received the site costing today. Was more than what i was expecting. Site cost is as follows. Class H waffle pod concreate slab - $5406.00 Excess soil removal- Site Excavation - cut and fill - $1738.00 Provisional Sum - to remove excell soil - 1500.00 Builder margin & GST on Provisional Sum - 562.00 Provide OH & S guard railing where distance from boundary less than 2000mm - 510.00 Temperory Fencing - 1206.00 Tremite protection - perimeter treatment - 1420. Provisional Sum - to remove rock - 1500.00 Builder margin & GST on Provisional Sum - 562.00 Total - 14706.00 Is this reasonable in Innisfail??? Any comments will be helpfull. especially regarding the site excavation, Provisional Sum - to remove excell soil etc.. As we didn't need rock or soil removed, we didn't have any of those other expenses that you have listed. Unfortunately something like that is really dependent on your land.
