I see lots of building companies in NSW, WA, Qld, Vic etc etc, but I've yet to find a single one in Tasmania.
Can someone point me to a couple of reasonably-sized project builders with standard floorplans etc ? (and please, no puerile Tasmania jokes ).

I'm in Launceston. The Yellow Pages ! Funny, I can't remember the last time I looked in there. But you're right. I'm just spoiled by the net - I like to check out floorplans and forum comments first...
Hobart or Huon Valley7

We're also looking for a builder for our new home in Tassie and I'd love to hear of any in the Hobart (or even more specifically Huon Valley) area - especially good ones!
Thanks for any tips.

I am currently building with Wilson Homes, my own plan. Very Happy with the build process so far.
I looked previously at the following:
Hotondo, now dwell
Originally from the Huon Valley but I cant think of any builders down there, but if you want larger "project type" builders the ones mentioned above would surely build in the Huon Valley as its only 25 minutes to town.
Or try for a local builder, is the "Huon Valley" paper still printed?
