It's exactly what I've been looking for... non microsuede with low arms suitable for ****** on If only they had an outlet in perth! I love all your other bits and pieces too. If you love the birdcage it will make you happy! You don't have to have a completely pure theme. If you love it you will find a place to put it that you love. My tac-home-ter: Been in 8 months! Re: themax build- New lounge! 1129Mar 27, 2010 8:07 am Yes ani, I should get it, I go in and look at in the store every time I am passing. You're right. Thanks for you lovely comment. Yes the lounge is very comfy, a lot firmer than our leather lounge, but my neck aches on that when I sit. So far on the new lounge, no aching neck, yaay. www.themaxbuild.blogspot.com forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=20717&start=300 www.leahspaperpassion.blogspot.com Re: themax build- New lounge! 1130Mar 27, 2010 3:24 pm Themax, I have African tribal warriors on my buffet....and my theme is modern with a bit of tropical/Balinese thrown in.... I know it's under the stairs but you just wait and see what I turn it into. I have DH's blessing so I will be making a wonderful space (even though it's small) where I can go and make cards and scrap until my hearts content. I will paint it a pretty colour that feeds my creativity (just the bare timber, not the walls). I have asked DH for a desk top with fold out legs that I can put across the space there. I will put lots of hooks and containers on the backs of the stair treads that you can see, and narrow shelves in the wall cavity for my pens etc. Maybe even a pin board for my ribbons and things. I can see the books on the shelf behind being moved out for stamps and materials. Of course this is number 6785 on the list of Thing To Do, but watch this space...I WILL do it. One day. I can just hear the kids, "Where's Mum?", "She's under the stairs scrapping..." www.themaxbuild.blogspot.com forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=20717&start=300 www.leahspaperpassion.blogspot.com Re: themax build- New lounge! 1134Mar 27, 2010 6:10 pm Southies You're not talking about Julian's TM (I think that's what it's called ) just to the left of Coles at M ? You're too good! www.themaxbuild.blogspot.com forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=20717&start=300 www.leahspaperpassion.blogspot.com Re: themax build- New lounge! 1135Mar 27, 2010 8:41 pm Your going to have the very first scrapbooking nook! Great idea Now your going to have to add another intercom, Air con duct and mood lighting for your creative juices to flow. Dont forget the ergonomic chair, tea/coffee/bar facilities in case someone drops in. They must be sick of seeing me - I pop in there every Tuesday before I head into coles for the groceries. I just love the stuff they have Built the Eden Brae Cambridge 34 Family with Boston Corner Facade Re: themax build- New lounge! 1137Mar 27, 2010 9:21 pm I just bought a Lime and Coconut perfume spray there...mmmmm...I wanted a Room Spray but they didn't have the large size, had to get the purse size surely you don't come all that way to shop? I drive past the rug shop near my place and think about the beautiful rug that I had never seen anything like and probably never will again! I was being cheap so I didn't buy it. The $700 would have been worth not having to mourn it every time I drive past My tac-home-ter: Been in 8 months! Re: themax build- New lounge! 1140Mar 28, 2010 7:01 am Yep, you're right ani . I have to go today for groceries so will have another look and take my birthday money with me I have done that before too, wanted something and then it's gone... the birdcage is $50 though, I hope it's worth it. We've sorted out the formal lounge room and moved the boxes so it is another room we can use now. There will be no tv for that room. We have one d/stairs and one u/stairs, that's enough. We have the 2 leather sofas (the oldish ones) and the coffee table, but nothing else. It looks a bit empty. I think I need a rug to define the space. Maybe I should just leave it sparse? Will take a pic and see what you think. Got to get some plants into this house, it needs the injection of green, movement and texture. I think I also need to get the leather lounges professionally cleaned, I wonder how much that costs and how good it is? DH was in the garage all day yesterday. He took everything out and has put most of it back in all neat around the walls. We still can't put our cars in there though We have another whole heap of junk at the InLAws in their garage. Where on earth will we put it? I think we will have a garage sale just before the Council clean up. Also put a yukky set of drawers out on the kerb with a free sign...gone in 15mins The boxes are diminishing but slowly. Oh it's huge isn't it? Still no turf. DH too busy working. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17616 Hi, did you get any money from insurance? if you did, does it match what you've already paid the builders? 3 9572 |
