I have the same door and after having people hanging out in my backyard at night, I now worry about them being able to see straight in, so was thinking I might get the frost film. Re: Our house (WA) - 6 months in PHOTOS! pg 42 849May 09, 2011 11:22 am Just gorgeous Kara, really modern and clean - love it! Re: Our house (WA) - 6 months in PHOTOS! pg 42 850May 11, 2011 9:46 am Rizzo: people hanging out in your backyard? That doesn't sound good!! Yeah I was thinking yesterday that maybe the frost film would be a better idea for us too. I don't want people to be able to see through the door at all, even if they put their hands up to it.. and I think with tinting you can see through it if you go right up to it. Also, if we get it tinted I'll want the front windows done aswell to match, whereas at the moment you can see the white blinds through the front windows so the frost film would just match that. I'm thinking we should have ordered the glass to be the white film when we got the door but didn't think of that at the time!! Thanks Vundaful! It's not very clean at the moment though! ahah Building with Ventura homes (WA) Building thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=20516 Slab: 17/04/10, Bricking started: 12/05/10, Bricking finished: 2/06/10, Roof frame done: 11/06/10, Colorbond on: 14/07/10, Lock Up: 19/08/10, Cabinets: 25/08/10, Tiling done: 28/09/10, Electrical: 2/10/10, PCI: 29/10/10, Keys: 4/11/10 Re: Our house (WA) - 6 months in PHOTOS! pg 42 852May 11, 2011 8:22 pm Haha yeah no worries, it's blackbutt Building with Ventura homes (WA) Building thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=20516 Slab: 17/04/10, Bricking started: 12/05/10, Bricking finished: 2/06/10, Roof frame done: 11/06/10, Colorbond on: 14/07/10, Lock Up: 19/08/10, Cabinets: 25/08/10, Tiling done: 28/09/10, Electrical: 2/10/10, PCI: 29/10/10, Keys: 4/11/10 Re: Our house (WA) - 6 months in PHOTOS! pg 42 853May 11, 2011 8:58 pm karakarakara Rizzo: people hanging out in your backyard? It's not very clean at the moment though! ahah Yeah, that's what we've been trying to figure out what to do. Wish we had of had it done with the door, but I didn't think of how open it would be. You can see straight down to the living room from ours and if I don't have the outside lights on at night, I have no idea if there is someone standing there or not. We are getting our front windows tinted due to the heat and were going to do the door too, but then figured if the lights are on inside you can see in still. At least with the frosting you can see shapes and stuff, but not actually everything. Re: Our house (WA) - New photos 854Jun 02, 2012 12:23 pm Hi everyone I haven't been on here in ages, but we are now going to (finally) finish off our kitchen (overhead cupboards and splashback) and I thought I'd pop in and post some updated photos. Only going to leave them up for a few days though. We still have a lot to go, but I'm enjoying the process of finding things that we love and putting it all together 6 month in photos are on pg 42 - they look a bit brighter as they were taken during the day, whereas all of these photos were taken at night. The couch we have had for ages and I am thinking of getting black theatre style leather couches in here and going for a different paint colour (more of a brown colour). I want some wall art behind the couch. I can't really decide what colour to add to the room. This one will be a working progress for a while I think until I work out what I want to do!
