Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 08, 2009 7:33 pm Hi all, I am very very confused and undecided on my wall colour selection. I have signed my contract last week and our builder only gives us 7 days to make any changes to our colour schedule. Our current selection are: Cornice/ceiling: Wattyl Flatwhite Skirting/architrave: Wattyl Softblush Door: Wattyl Softblush Wall: Wattyl Softblush Wattyl Softblush is basically plain white, so it will be very very cold. I am very worried that this will not fit it well into my colour scheme. The pic below is basically the colour scheme that we would love to have. As you can see, the wall colour in this pic are not plain cold white. However, I would not want the wall colour to be too yellow/creamy as well. So I think I am looking for the LIGHTEST WARM WHITE possible in the Wattyl Colour range. The pic below would be the wall colour that I am looking for. Anyone has any idea? I would really appreciate your suggestions as I need to finalise my colour selections in 3 days. Thank you. I think that is what the photo has. We have similar kitchen colours but went for Wattyl chalk beige on the walls, which is a darker beige colour. If you want to see it then click on the thread link in my siggie and go to page 21. Blog: http://bluemistkids.blogspot.com "Never be afraid to try something new. Re: Confused over Wall colour - need to decide in 3 days! 3Jul 09, 2009 7:51 pm Hi Hels, I look at your Wattyl chalk beige colours on the wall, there are really nice and warm As I am looking for something lighter in colour, I am thinking of Wattyl Flokati. I have looked at vanderlay's wall pics and they are looking really great! The other option that I am thinking is Wattyl Bone. So at the moment, it is Wattyl Flokati VS wattyl bone. I think Wattyl bone is more yellowish in colour (as I see from awalache's blog). Am I right? Anyone have got anymore pics and suggestions? Happy to discuss Stephen Williams Landing Stage 10 - Kingwell Neighbourhood Re: Confused over Wall colour - need to decide in 3 days! 4Jul 09, 2009 8:06 pm That sounds like good choices. I'm not sure about the colour differences, but hopefully someone else can help. Blog: http://bluemistkids.blogspot.com "Never be afraid to try something new. Flokati isn't really a warm colour like chalk beige but I love it Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ My karma ran over your dogma I thought this would be a popular question but I haven't been able to find any similar posts.
