Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 01, 2009 10:33 pm We are really stuck for ideas on how to colour this facade. The colour scheme we had chosen originally for the Hayman many months ago does not work with this facade arrangement. Current thoughts run the line of a jasper-paperbark combo but we would love some input Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Help us colour our facade! 2Jul 01, 2009 11:07 pm Ooooohhh it's like a colouring-in competition!! Unfortunately, I have no idea Built with New Generation (Summit Homes) We own land!... with a slab on it! Plus a shell of a house with stuff inside ! Re: Help us colour our facade! 4Jul 02, 2009 3:00 am Hi there As you know from our post on similar topic we went with Jasper and Linen. We have Paperbark window frames but I was really concerned if I went for Paperbark render it might come out a little yellow and pull yellow out from the frames. It borders on a yellow type ivory (almost magnolia which would make Lawrence Llwellyn Boham ill). This is why we went for Linen. However, be prepared, Linen is very crisp and light and needs INHO to be used as the second colour if you understand what I mean. So it is not the dominant colour. You have seen out photos but am more than happy for you to pm me if you are in the area and you need to check the colour out. I wish we had gone for Dune in our windows but I think the girl at colour selection said our window company didn't make in this colour. we are selling and moving to the coast, if you know someone who wishes to buy in Mernda Villages, please visit this link http://www.realestate.com.au/property-h ... -107083288 Re: Help us colour our facade! 5Jul 02, 2009 8:23 am I whipped up some ideas late last night, one option I toying with is moving the render from the wall to the left side of the door and having a brick face there (these images do not reflect this though). The Garage Door colour is to represent Caboa Timberlook. With CB Jasper and CB Riversand, with a Red Accent Colour. I have not seen Paperbark as render in the flesh I did not picture it being yellow, we will probably go with black window frames since they work with everything! Re: Help us colour our facade! 7Jul 02, 2009 12:10 pm Zerosignal, whens your colour selection at Spectra?? This facade is very similar to the Lyndhurst display facade, I think youve opted for simillar/same colour scheme for the facade? I really like these colours, they work well. What bricks will you have? It will look good if you incorporate face brickwork into the facade. I think the second colour scheme youve drawn up works better, but Im unsure about the timber look garage door. The Lyndhurst display has a neutral/light cream colour garage door.... But it will work out if your having a timber entry door? The Montrose 35 at Cranbourne North, the new display, has really nice colours on the facade. Its a mix of light beige, purple, black roof tiles, silver aluminium windows, timber pergola etc.. Perhaps you could do a cream/purple combo, silver windows.. itll look awesome!! Just keep brainstorming with colours! Good luck!!! Built the Atlantique 37 Mk2 with Carlisle Homes - WE'RE IN!! Something to think about though. Thank you @. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3275 Dear Members I have to decide the Facade column size.
