I would just ask them to remove the raking bulkhead in the entry, and make it a full height ceiling. Otherwise it will look cheap, and limit the lighting that you can put. We moved into our home in bletchley park about 6 months ago Re: WA build Bletchley Park. 13Jun 30, 2009 8:43 pm Put a door on the hallway leading to the minor bedrooms, slider if you have to. helps for heating/cooling zones and as a noise buffer from living -family areas to minor bedrooms. Otherwise looks great. Re: WA build Bletchley Park. 14Jun 30, 2009 11:18 pm Jeremy, we will be neighbours! took a drive there today and theres 3 houses underway! very exciting! Id have a double shower! dont you need to make structural changes before prestart? Also welcome P1T, I love your house, been to the display a few times! You have a nice size block! Also to center the doors to the theatre. In addition to this, other things to consider are: 1) Extending the benchtops in the kitchen a little, and adding a breakfast-bar overhang 2) Adding doors to the linen in the laundry 3) I would consider changing the shower screen in the main bathroom to a sliding one, otherwise it will knock the door (this happens in our house) 4) The WIR in the main bedroom is quite small. Usually it's best to have about 2m hanging space for each person. I would see what can be done to increase this. One option is to centre the ensuite door, shift the main bedroom door down, and then put built in cupboards either side of the ensuite door. Re: WA build Bletchley Park. 17Jul 03, 2009 11:45 am amilelka As with the above house, I would ask them to remove the bulkhead from the entry. Isn't the bulkhead there because there are no eaves? So you'd need to either a) add eaves, b) have a raking bulkhead or c) have a square bulkhead. New beginnings. Re: WA build Bletchley Park. 18Jul 03, 2009 11:55 am Theoretically yes, but you can alter the roof line so that there are no eaves and that part of the building. The brickwork for the entry will then sit higher than the eaves height, giving the entry a more formal and defined look. Re: WA build Bletchley Park. 19Jul 03, 2009 12:51 pm thanks for the comments! we spent just over 8 on prestart , we changed the pantry and the doors to the theatre and just little things like the man hole position and laundry sink to a bench top with cupbourds Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Regards Jeremy Building in southern river Perth..
