The whole process before the site start takes time. We dont know what stage you are at. After picking up colors from studio 501 and electricals the whole plan goes to the developer approval and council approval. Our experience with metricon so far has been really quick and reasonably good. It took them only 2 months to complete all first 4 stages, now they are doing the last stage ( painting & fittings). So it took them only 2 months since the site started. Any further questions, please feel free to ask. We are happy to assist wherever we can. And good luck. We are waiting on the engineering plans to be done again as our second soil test came back with different levels. We should then get final plans and hopefully they get the building permit. We have had very poor customer service so hoping that improves too. If we could we would change builders but we are too far gone now. Forum thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22300 Re: Chelsea with M3tricon 7Jun 24, 2009 4:48 pm We went through the same customer service ourselves. We had our customer coordinator who was very rude and not helpful at all. Anything small we asked her to do, she had only one standard answer you signed the contract yourselves and now its too late to change anything. She said when construction started no variations are allowed whereas the contract says otherwise. I was dumbstruck considering we are giving so much money to these builders, there jobs are coz of customers like us. But they dont care after you have signed the dotted line. We tried to get thru to 2 managers but no one replied us back. My wife then called up the senior manager of all, and his assistant said that you have to deal with your coordinator. So seems like same mafia. BUT i guess karma catches up with everybody as she is no longer with metricon since last week and we got appointed a new coordinator who is great girl and willing to help us. Things we asked earlier which was denied are now approved with her help. Also hopefully you get good site supervisor coz they can be pain in the neck too. I have also heard other builders are worst. If you wanna do variations, do it now when you can. You wont be able to do it later as they dint wanna help us. Go thru all your plans again, double check the locations of things, lighting, colors etc |
