I just got back from the house and even with some of the little gaps here and there I am in love with it, and so proud that we are laying it ourselves. Yes I am also two-timing my partner with my shutters Kylie handover happened 15/6/09...love living on an acre but still so much to do! Re: handover has happened with photos 24Jun 22, 2009 8:17 pm Hi, we are having the same floor, and still trying to work out the best way to lay it. Looking forward to your progress reports. Thanks for sharing And congratulations on your beautiful home Re: handover has happened with photos 25Jun 22, 2009 8:42 pm We saw shutters like yours in a display and hated them but they look fantastic in your house! And I'm also loving your wide front door =) And when I saw the pics of the flooring I wouldn't have picked you were doing it yourself it looks great (And probably a better job than some of the tradies going round at the moment could do) Congrats on handover =) Re: handover has happened with photos 26Jun 22, 2009 9:11 pm Congratulations Everything looks fantastic. The shutters are a lovely touch. Enjoy your gorgeous new home. I could have had either of those for a much more affordable price but in the long run I do not think it would wear as well.
