How nice is it going to be looking out of the windows in your house. Sorry about the "how did I miss that moment". I had quite a few of those. The builders did too resulting in a couple of extra bulkheads in our house. At least you can get that fixed so that's good. It's really moving along, you'll be in before you know it. Re: Jo's Bridgeport..... more framing pics! 19/07 265Jul 21, 2009 1:10 pm Frames looking great, view looking even better! Just gorgeous!! I'm glad you were able to resolve your bulkhead issues Joles.. I pick up little things I never noticed everytime i read my plans! Lucky you picked yours up on time. Re: Jo's Bridgeport..... more framing pics! 19/07 266Jul 21, 2009 11:41 pm Congrats on your frame Jo, it's looking great! It's a wonderful feeling to walk through your home eh? Lucky it wasn't too late to get the bulkhead resolved....what a major "phhheeeeww" moment that would've been when the chippy said he was happy to fix it Re: Jo's Bridgeport..... more framing pics! 19/07 267Jul 23, 2009 10:49 pm I snuck up today and got a few pics. Frame just needs a few bits and pieces done. Most of our wondows are in which is a surprise. Only the garage, one facade and one sliding door are to be installed. Sorry for the quality of the pics, it was getting dark. On the way home all the electrics failed on my car and I had to limp home with dim headlights. It's not the battery.... far more serious! We have a meeting tomorrow with the SS, more pics then. Overview. http://i519.photobucket.com/albums/u353/joles_photo/2009-07-23_17-30-51_23072009997.jpg One of the feature windows on the facade. I love it. http://i519.photobucket.com/albums/u353/joles_photo/2009-07-23_17-34-31_23072009998.jpg From the lounge looking out to the alfresco. We filled in the bottom of the pillers so that they became voids, otherwise the dogs and cats would play chasey around them... you can see it on the right. There's one on each side of the lounge and each side of the study. http://i519.photobucket.com/albums/u353/joles_photo/2009-07-23_17-35-42_230720091000.jpg Bi-part sliding door to the backyard. http://i519.photobucket.com/albums/u353/joles_photo/2009-07-23_17-36-33_230720091002.jpg Family room. http://i519.photobucket.com/albums/u353/joles_photo/2009-07-23_17-37-04_230720091004.jpg The offending void.... the bulkhead has been altered from 2100 to 2400 to line up with the doorway on the right next to it. to my chippies. http://i519.photobucket.com/albums/u353/joles_photo/2009-07-23_17-37-49_230720091007.jpg Kid's play room. He is a Husky x Staffy.... quite a handful, but beautiful and he is in good hands. http://i519.photobucket.com/albums/u353/joles_photo/2009-07-23_11-28-02_23072009990.jpg http://i519.photobucket.com/albums/u353/joles_photo/2009-07-23_14-33-59_23072009995.jpg I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. PD are firing along for you Joles - they must have known what you went through over the last 18mths. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Jo's Bridgeport..... a frame with windows! 23/07 272Jul 24, 2009 8:53 am It is looking fantastic Jo I didn't know you could do aliminium bifolds, I would have done that rather than deleting the timber one from our promo How CUTE is that puppy!!! Look how big his feet are!! He looks like he will be a big boy!! It amazes me someone as cute as him would end up at the RSPCA My karma ran over your dogma Re: Jo's Bridgeport..... a frame with windows! 23/07 273Jul 24, 2009 9:14 am Bel, I apologise! That was a stupid typo on my part. It's a bi-part door, not a bi-fold. I'll fix that up. You can get aluminium bi-folds, but they are not cheap. As for the puppy. I'll post something in the rant section when I can do so rationally. I would have been in tears at the RSPCA if I wasn't so mad. Some people are morons. Annie and FND, I really love that window. It's quite different. I'll admit, it's very heavy from inside the house in the black. But the room that they are in is a big one, so I hope it will carry it if you know what I mean. Kyton, we actually waited a little while between slab and frame, but I'm not concerned. Once they start something it does then get done efficiently. I'm expecting a considerable wait until we get to lock up. I'm guessing there will be a wait for brickies. But they can go along and do other things and I can hang on to all that money for the lock-up invoice for a little longer! I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Very nice of your chippies to fix up that bulkhead too, it will look a lot more in proportion now. What is a "SBF"? Blog: http://bluemistkids.blogspot.com "Never be afraid to try something new. The electrics on my car (the Festiva) failed last night and it's undrivable.... and my other car (Hilux) is in at the mechanics and won't be ready until tomorrow.
