Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 4Jun 17, 2009 11:40 am lucky you. We are in stage 17, and we are walking distance from the new primary school and oval/parkland. We have only just put down our deposit but waiting til Feb is going to drive me insane. I still have heaps to do with the house contracts but i doubt it will be enough to keep me occupied until they start building, im so impatient i want it all to happen now! Good luck with all you building! Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 5Jun 18, 2009 8:44 am Hi ! I know the feeling, the last 6mnths has driven me insane, cant wait for the title now its just dragging on so much ! Our block is directly opposite the school/oval, that was a big plus for us. Cant wait to see how it all turns out ! Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 7Jul 22, 2009 6:41 pm hi we are also in stage 14. [***] just told us the release has been bumped to mid august. Which is a bummer I hope it does not go much longer than this but they dont have a cutoff date by law that they have to have land tittled by well they get something like 36 months over the release date.
Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 8Jul 23, 2009 9:32 am hi ! [***] also sent me an email yest and said there expecting titles mid aug, feels like have already been waiting soooooo long. got a call during the week from her as well asking what side we wanted our driveway on, that was a bit exciting ! going out there this arvo to have a look at the progress ! Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 9Jul 30, 2009 10:35 am oh no! I hope that they don't delay ours!!! We're on a really tight time frame with our first home owners grant, we're signing contracts at the end of september so the latest we can build is March. Land is supposed to be titled in Feb, so fingers crossed it doesnt go over! Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 10Jul 30, 2009 10:54 am hi charlene, I hope yours is on time but I tend to think if one is out they will all be out but you never know [***] said they had heaps of workers over in your section and the shopping centre but none in our stage 14 so they were trying to move some back. But I went out there the other day and they have finally dug out and layed the road base for my street garvan street so I am going again tonight as I go into hospital first thing tomorrow and would like to see the progress I'm hoping they might have at least layed the curbing now or started on the driveways or something hehehe. Well we will see but I'm not holding my breath or anything. Good luck all waiting Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 11Jul 30, 2009 4:53 pm yeah it doesn't look like there is a whole lot going on in our area, they have started to extend the main road further into the estate but not by much, adn the other day an enourmous pile of rocks dissapeared out of nowhere so im praying that that means they are working?!?! Fingers crossed that your area comes up to speed and mine is on time! Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 12Jul 31, 2009 8:51 am Rocks disapearing is a start i guess ! We have been waiting for the road on our street to go in for what seems like forever ( haines drive ) - at the moment it finishes just at the end of stage 13, we cant to actually be able to walk on our land and see it marked out ! Has anyone had a soil test done as yet ? [***] is still telling us that we cant access the land for one, and its aparently only 2 or 3 weeks away from settlement. Going out there this sunday to check on progress, at least the shopping centre looks like its going up quickly, thats one thing i guess !!! Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 13Jul 31, 2009 3:36 pm So your house is on Haines Dr?? We're on Tillbrook Dr which is the opposite side of the football oval! Haines is where i have been going to look for progress, it hasn't moved much past the roundabout! Good luck with it all! Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 14Jul 31, 2009 3:47 pm hi ! yeah we are on Haines Drive, second last block in stage 14. it dosnt seem like alot has been happening, but the shops r sure going up quick ! shame id prefer our house/land lol have u heard newhere when the oval/school are due at all ? ive heard nothing about either but they will be great Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 16Aug 03, 2009 8:43 am hi ! yeah the oval will be great, cant wait to see all that happen, hope there is more grass on that than there is on the park at the start of the estate thats for sure ! we went out yesterday to check on progress, for the first time we could actually DRIVE down to our block, not that there marked out, but there was still alot of big boulders and dirt mounds on the lots. at least the road base is down and that shouldn't take too long to finish. who are we all building with in here ? Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 17Aug 05, 2009 9:55 am I'm building with Simonds, we are building the Milan 2200. nothing fancy, quite basic but nice and perfect for us! What about you? At least you can notice the progress, i can't tell too much but ill be keeping an eye on your house progress since i will be driving past every once in a while to see how things are going! You must be so excited, you can almost start soon. I still have to play the waiting game for a while longer! Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 18Aug 05, 2009 1:42 pm Hi. Simmonds build nice homes i like there designs, we looked at them. Were building the Armadale 230 with JG KING, they do steel frame homes. Still going through the process of final drawings etc, not too happy with there service at the moment, which is a shame coz we love the house so much, but i would def not reccomend them as far as customer service goes. They dont email, return calls, or seem interested in much we have to say at all ! That would be great if u check on the progress out there, we only get out about once every 2ish weeks as were out in the northern suburbs at the moment ! Here's hoping yours progresses quickly !!! Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 19Aug 05, 2009 1:49 pm Hi Guys, just received an email from Bluestone, yet another delay. Hopefully its the last one Please find attached correspondence from the Sunland Group regarding title release for your allotment in Stage 14 at Bluestone. As you will read whilst there have been delays which have lengthened the projected civil construction time, Sunland is making ever effort to deliver your lot as soon as possible. At this stage the physical construction of your allotment is expected at the end of August. Following council and titles office checks it is expected that settlement could occur around mid September. We apologise for any inconvenience this delay has caused but once again assure you that every effort is being made to deliver your allotment as soon as practicable. In the meantime we recommend that you update your lender or builder as to the new timeline. Once again we assure you of our ongoing commitment and support to Bluestone. Yours Sincerely Harvey Carretero Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 20Aug 05, 2009 1:54 pm thanks for that nicole. I went down there the other day and it looks like they are actually doing something now but geee's get a move on. I'm living with mum and dad till our new house is done as our other house sold. So the quicker the better. Glad to finally hear something from their end thou. Not much in this responce. My suggestion is, what are you looking to build and why. This will all be impacted by the local councils planning scheme. Familiarise yourself… 6 5827 So it looks like we finally have some movement on site! Definitely later than expected, but I'll take any progress at this point. I'll drop by over the weekend to get… 5 27154 I have posted this before: We hired Darbecca to do every stage inspection, and I strongly recommend them to anyone that asks me. They were amazing.
