Having driven past there last week or so I noticed that certain stages have had an additional layer of red soil over the land and flattened out whilst some of the rest havent. Does anyone one know why this special red soil for certain lots/stages? I have raised this with the Sunland group but havent heard back yet. P.S: Good to hear about the NBN connection and the Telstra lines AJM Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 1302Jun 25, 2011 11:06 pm Ashie1206 My fiancé and I have just purchased a block of land in Stage 22a in Bluestone Green - land has been delayed until mid June grrr hope this doesn't keep happening Hi neighbor, I called sunland 2-3 days ago.. they told me that they will be submitting applications to council. Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 1312Sep 23, 2011 3:44 pm Hi Everyone! I'm a long time watcher, first time poster on here and I was needing some advice. My land on 22a is (finally) close to site-start but I've just received an email from my Site Supervisor that they won't be able to build on my site until I clear the rocks on it. I was unsure what he was referring to as I had just visited the block two weeks ago and the block seemed fine but he attached photos to his email and to my horror, one the builders (it would most likely be one of the neighbours) have dumped all their rocks onto my site. Now I'm at a loss as to what I should do...I've called the council and they informed me that they can't give out the neighbours details because of this and that there's no way to prove who's rocks they belong to (even though they're sitting on the boundary) How can I prove that that it is in fact that particular neighbour that dumped their rocks onto my block and who would be responsible for the clean up? Can someone please help? Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 1313Sep 23, 2011 6:12 pm [quote="araiko4"]Hi Everyone! They do give details for this, it just so happens that you also need to enquire with the neighbours about removing rocks too. Hope you get it sorted out soon. Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 1315Sep 23, 2011 7:38 pm Sorry, just read ur post properly, it needs to be taken up with the neighbours builder, not the neighbour themselves? There should be a board on the fence of the neighbours site detailing the builder and the site supervisor, and his phone number. Try that maybe? Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 1316Sep 23, 2011 7:40 pm When we moved in I had the neighbours bricks strewn all over our boundary and the fencer said that he couldn't fence until it was moved. If you call Bluestone office - Christina should be able to give you the name/number of the people who own the block -thats how I got our neighbours details. I would also be doing what Vic said and call the site supervisor of the neighbouring property and tell them they have a week to get their crap off your block otherwise you will charge them the cost to move it! I'll probably be visiting my block this weekend (I currently live in the South-East so it's a bit of a trek) so I can see the builders sign. And yes, I agree that my gripe isn't with my neighbours Thanks again everyone, hopefully I can get this sorted soon so I can finally get my slab down! Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 1318Sep 25, 2011 3:18 pm Hey araiko4, Were you able to solve your problem? I hate when people dump their stuff on others. Someone has already dump a large rock on my nature strip. I can't even move it without some machinery. bastards! If you can pm neighbors lot number I can probably go there and get supervisors contact info for you. I live near by and I daily visit my site to see the progress Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 1319Sep 25, 2011 7:16 pm yamanoj Hey araiko4, Were you able to solve your problem? I live near by and I daily visit my site to see the progress Hi Yamannoj, I actually went there today and it looks like they cleared the most of it although there are still a few 'smaller' rocks around. I've taken a few photos to send to my Site Supervisor so hopefully he says that the lot is clean enough for them to start. Oh no, that's not good at all It's annoying how some people can be so inconsiderate to dump stuff on other peoples' property. Do you know if it's from one of your neighbours blocks? Thanks for the offer of checking up on my site. I've found out that my neighbours are building with Carlisle so if my SS says that it's still not clean enough, I'll give them a buzz and see what they have to say Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 1320Sep 27, 2011 8:29 am araiko4 yamanoj Hey araiko4, Were you able to solve your problem? That is easy info is easy to find. Coz I am also building with them. Don't worry SS is a cool guy. Not much in this responce. My suggestion is, what are you looking to build and why.
