I've seen a blackboard in the pantry before and I think it's a great idea. I can never find my shopping list or always end up writing on the back of an envelope, that's just so convienient.

I love your floor, do you find you notice dust a lot more because it's a darker colour?

Hi Phoenix...yes I will post up more pics soon....glad you like it..I bought throughout the building process and stored everything at my mum's...the only thing we already had was our bed..everything else is new...so its a lot to source...but it was fun...

jet79 - we have a samoyed x retriever and her fur definitely shows up on the floor....thank god for Dyson..best thing we bought..its one kick *** vacuum...

casa2 - no probs...ask me anything you want..happy to help...most of the items I bought should be available in sydney..

Thanks jet79..yup thats lulu when she was a pup...she is quite hefty now as you can see in the recent pic...she gets groomed every night which helps with her shedding

Love your decorating style, the chandelair (is that how you spell it?? is there a spell check on here? ) is a nice touch.

the actual size of the room where the wardrobe is in is 2500W x 3000L..I am pretty sure the wardrobe units are 500-550mm depth on either side..we were very lucky that the mirror just fits inbetween..2 mm gap on either side!!!!

Hi phoenix...not to worry your house is coming along just fine... ....

our intercom is working fine..hubby did all the wiring prior to the plasterboards going up so it was very easy to install...I would definitely recommend it...

one thing I wouldnt recommend is the ceramic griller ..looks great but when it comes to cleaning its a nightmare!!!! nothing is removable so you have to clean it on the counter!!! so looks like I will just toast bread on it!!!

phoenix..its called grey oak.....initially we ordered the wenge but there was a big delay with that color so we opted for the grey oak..turned out to work very well with the wallpaper...
