Re: Our Dream Home 22May 08, 2007 12:39 am Received an email from our builder saying that the hot water system will not fit as there is only a 1 metre gap between the house and the boundary...so they suggested the only possibility is a Rinnai Infinity Sysytem that is slimline and can be screwed onto the wall...another $2500 extra for the system...

Matt Yes Matt, we got a shock when we knew how much extra we had to pay..we did our research before going ahead..it seemed like a reasonable price because we are getting the 32 litre unit with the smartstart system attached with controllers including installation..here is a little info on how the system works...will save us thousands of litres of water in the long run... http://www.rinnai.com.au/hotwater/home/ ... =home&pg=5 Re: Our Dream Home 31May 08, 2007 12:20 pm ![]() Hi ladyice, I think we chatted a bit on this forum a year or so ago... Glad to see that you are progressing well. I haven't visited this site for a while - thanks for the PM reminder. Good luck with choosing your colours and appliances. I found Entreprise to be very resonable on price (since I double checked everything myself) and accomodating with last minute changes. Looking forward to seeing more photos. I'll be sure to send you a few of mine. Cheers ![]() Re: Our Dream Home 38May 11, 2007 2:29 pm I'm sooo jealous! I want to build my dream house, too!

Got an email from the builder saying that water tanks are now in high demand so there is a back order...we have ordered a 2400litre FatBoy- pics here - http://www.waterwall.com.au/index.cfm?p=2116 I chose the beige color instead of the hideous green...we were going to apply for the water tank rebate..I think its either $500 or $1000 I am not sure but we were told if we get the rebate we have to pay a water storage fee and it gets deducted from our waterbill automatically ![]() ![]() We will have a Home Assistant enable version very shortly. 3 9840 ![]() Maybe buy a small second hand caravan, so you can live on the block, so at least you have a virtual "mini house" while you work on getting the "real one" started?
