I have missed just about all of this post; your home is looking fantastic! I bet you are thrilled to bits! I must say I don’t see very many people as game as you are with your colours…..way to go!!! [sneakersss] Re: Our Dream Home 189Sep 20, 2007 11:35 pm That sink is indeed quite special!
Got a question about the vanity. I heard that for this kind of modern vanity that's above the ground or with 4 legs (bottom part not sealed/closed off), you still have to connect the drain pipe under it. So when you bent down you will still see the drain pipe, unless you hide it behind the wall. Is this correct? Re: Our Dream Home 190Sep 22, 2007 10:50 pm Allan,
It is usually hidden behind a second layer of plaster. The total wall depth would be approx 180mm instead of the standard 90mm. So the answer is NO you can't see it if you get down on your hands and knees. I went to an open house 2 weeks ago, the house has those vanities with 4 legs, and when I bent down I did see the ugly pipe under it in all 3 bathrooms. It's a owner built house just built 12 months ago. Looks like this guy is doing it in the cheapest way just to make money... Re: Our Dream Home 193Sep 24, 2007 4:10 pm Thanks for the answer Matt!!! Yup just checked ahuang..no ugly pipes under the cabinet...phewww....

Your house looks great. Like others have said, the door and window colours look good. Other than the feature walls, have you used only one colour throughout the house? What is the wall colour in the pic you put up with the skirtings painted? Thanks. Re: Our Dream Home 200Sep 25, 2007 11:33 pm ![]() ladyice, Your house looks great.
