Your pictures look fantastic Ladyice! We have chosen stipple seal for our kitchen as well, so I was really excited to see what it will look like! What have you chosen for your splashback? We are probably going with a chocolate brown glass splashback. We chose caesarstone haze for the benchtop.

Hi there,

the color turned out to be quite nice..much better than the pics...it is a very neutral tone which will absorb the darker tones I chose...our splashback is gonna be black mosaics in the above pic...be prepared with glass though..my friend has it and the oily surface just goes round in circles when she cleans unless you wash and dry your cloth after every wipe....

Is the main colour of your house stone chip? If so cant wait to see the next pics of when the house is painted. We are either going stone chip our dune (CB) and have been painting bits of board to choose but still stuck. I love all the colours you have picked though.

Yes, the main house color is stone chip..the ceiling,cornice and skirting is surfmist....cant wait either...

Here is the facade....all done except the top windows..they will have to match it to the bottom ones....

Now that is a luxury home taking shape, Ladyice. I like the horizontal lines across, adding charater to the facade. Well done.

We agree....its awesome!!! Its been 6 months now and we are still smiling so I guess its a good thing

..the owner Arlen and our supervisor John met me on site this morning to discuss the windows and Arlen agreed to put moulds around the side windows as well so it looks neater.....so very happy with that outcome...

Law18 - our exterior paint is Mocha Magic by Dulux..you can find a sample of the color in my earlier posts....

The paint work is scheduled for this week and then the tiling.....the boss reckons 12 weeks more

We have also chosen stipple seal but for our bathroom & laundry - must be a popular colour at the moment!

Hi Pasey25...its called the single french farmhouse butler sink from Intasink.

Perthgirl...Stipple Seal is the way to go when you need it to go with a multitude of colors like what we have....

We decided to change our rangehood to a built in one instead of a canopy style so it can be concealed in the overhead cupboards which means less cleaning for me...here is what we chose..double the suction and $300 less- the Miele DA3190.... :lol:

I found a really good online blinds company that is going to save me at least 30% off what I was quoted by a retail store which is a huge saving.......and they have the fabric that I want as well...they send out free samples and there is a lot of information on their site to help you along....if you are afraid of taking the wrong measurements they will provide that service for an extra $80..they also do installations at an additional cost....here is their site if anyone is interested...

Things had been at a stand still for 2 weeks....the painters finally appeared last Saturday starting on the doors and the walls....we tried to take pics of the walls as best we could eimaj but you cant really see the true color...that is only the first coats so it will be darker...will take more pics at the end of the week...

bda20- I ordered some samples too but was quite dissappointed with the quality of the fabrics....

Stone chip looks good in pic with doors fully painted. In other pics looks a bit creamy/pink?

it's been a while since I last had a look. You must be very proud as it is going to turn up a treat. Shall you be using the services of a landscaper or are you going to have a go yourself? I'm getting a bit ahead of myself, but it's the nature of the beast unfortunately.

Thanks for the compliments everyone....Hennig - no landscaping talks for a while...our priority is the fence all around the property so the garden can wait!!! :wink:

they have fixed the window mouldings for the rest of the windows!!!
