Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 13, 2009 4:31 pm As a follow on from my previous thread, if I wanted to change this layout so that the WIR (or ensuite) does not form part of the facade wall (having window issues atm), then what would you do? Master Layout 2Jun 13, 2009 5:58 pm It's a bit hard to come up with something without some kind of dimensions, but here's my stab at it. -S http://i684.photobucket.com/albums/vv205/gothotiha/layout.jpg Re: Design guru's.... Master Layout 3Jun 13, 2009 10:13 pm Thanks D&SG I havent got dimensions yet unfortunately And should have mentioned that the facade wall is the wall on the lower of the image, not the side Im so so sorry for not saying so earlier, you spent time helping me and I really appreciate it Custom European Cabinets - Melbourne Kitchen Specialist PM for business details as website currently being updated! You could also play around with it to form a little hallway to the main bedroom and have the study doors off that little hallway rather than off the main hallway. Not sure if I'm making sense. Kind of like this, but you could have the ensuite where "his" robe and the toilet is. I'm not sure where your other bedrooms are, but I think this is a lovely set up, for the study to double as a nursery when the time comes. http://www.porterdavis.com.au/content/H ... xley29.pdf I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. It kind of breaks up a long wall. Re: Design guru's.... Master Layout 7Jun 14, 2009 10:43 am *phew* Good to hear D&SG kek and jo, thats exactly what I was playing around with last night! George doesnt like the idea of a "hallway" eating in to the space, so then I made up something like what you posted jo - didnt think of the nursery idea, thats great! Just heard back from the house designer as I emailed him, and he said to attach what Ive been playing with on paint (KNEW I should have saved it *doh*) So I will do that and see what he comes up with. He's also managed to increased the bedrooms to 3500mm x 4000mm excluding robes Thank-you girls, you've given me lots to work with Custom European Cabinets - Melbourne Kitchen Specialist PM for business details as website currently being updated!
