Ignoring site costs can anyone give a rough estimation what it would cost per square to build in that region? (Bendigo, Ballarat etc). Builders working out of Bendigo are happy to go there but you'd have to ask them about your neck of the woods. There are the big mobs like Dennis and Metricon and of course the smaller guys. They are doing a custom design for me which they price the same as if it were one of their standard plans. No extra charge for design and drafting. They showed me a plan of one of their standard 24 square homes and it was priced at $254,000.
