I've been out to the PGH display centre a few times and Loam is one of my favourites I also like your choice of colour for the rendered section. If you're anything like me, I get sick of colours really easily so a nice, neutral colour would be better for further down the track. Re: New Build In Old Suburb - Tighes Hill, Newcastle 34Jun 23, 2009 2:11 pm Looks good. Was it Louise that you saw? If it was she is hilarious. We took 3hrs as well - and we were super organised (basically had all of our selections done but just wanted her to clarify that they worked together). Was a handy part of the building with Capital process in my opinion. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: New Build In Old Suburb - Tighes Hill, Newcastle 35Jun 23, 2009 7:23 pm Thanks Hallie_mia! Kyton, Yeah Louise is still doing the colour selections. We had already picked most of the colours ourselves as well, as you said just wanted to run them by her. She offered some really good insights and settled a few near arguements between us! I was cursing her artistic mind while watching her rewrite one page of the selection sheets for the estimator rather than just using the photocopier in the office next-door though! lol. As you say though it was really handy having someone to confirm your own ideas and opinions without enforcing their own too much. The dimensions of the land is 9.14x30.48. I am trying to get ideas on how to build on a narrow block of land. I kinnda have a design drawn up already but I still need a drafts person to draw it up for me and to put in some suggestions aswell. To mjt084, I would like to congratulate you on your new home. It looks amazing. I would like to know if you have a contact name at capital homes? and would they build in Berala,NSW,2141? thanks and keep everyone posted, Sergio Re: New Build In Old Suburb - Tighes Hill, Newcastle 37Jul 08, 2009 9:03 am Their phone number is 0249330001. Website is www.capitalhomes.net.au There are other Sydney builders who may be able to help you. Eden Brae have narrow designs as do Cosmopolitan and Allworth. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: New Build In Old Suburb - Tighes Hill, Newcastle 38Jul 08, 2009 10:26 am Ahhh the old 30ft frontage, damn those Surveyors of yesteryear; What Kyton Said, I think Berela may be a little far south for Capital, if you want to ask the question though the best person to contact would be Sharon Davies on the details given by Kyton. Another builder with some narrow lot designs is Jandson, they didn't build as far North as Newcastle so I didn't have a good look through all their designs but they had a few to suit 9m wide lots.
