Joles, what did the other $13k cover then? $2,800 cut & fill it must be a really flat block?
Nope 2m across the house site from right to left, 1 metre cut in front right hand corner. Our block is pretty much at the limit of what the major builders will build on slope wise.
The rest covered 41 concrete piers (additional concrete pump), agi drains, silt pits, additional run of all services (sewerage, storm water) over standard block size, trench shoring for services, riser pipes to front and rear of garage (to put in drains after handover).
Our slab remained an M class, but lots of piering due to the slope and extra charges because it's 1639m2. Here's a pic from what will be my back yard to give you an idea of what we are building on. You can see how the roofs stagger down the hill.
