With our builder you go straight to electrician for any upgrades etc..In the letter it says : we strongly recommend that you contact a lighting supplier to design your lighting requirements and specify the types of light fttings and switch positions that will be installed." I am new to all this and have no idea what to do as we have bought all our lights from shops here and there when they had specials on.. so who is our lighting supplier? We need to call electrician up and ask if we can't send them a list of our additional requirements (not very long) with a home made diagram... anyone else had that? Our builder sent us to an electrical appointment and that company drew up the plans to include the upgrades we chose. Those plans were then forwarded to the builder as part of our overall plans. This all happened recently and we are now waiting for all to be signed off so as the slab can be laid.
