Buy me a digital camera. But when i get my hands on one. sure no probs. Quality of work 103Aug 28, 2007 12:47 pm I've cut and paste a section I posted on a different thread here on Henley and workmanship quality. Insist on the same quality as the display, its in YOUR contract they signed too!
Take a look at your Henley Properties Next Generation Contract Spectification. Edition 2 (The one I have) States Under B. INTERPRETATION , B11. Workmanship standards, The tolerance values and level of worksmanship for all building work undertaken by the builder shall: B11.1 Be equivalent to the quality of the display home; and B11.2 Where there is a difference in interpretation of quality, dimension or worksmanship between an Australian Standard, the Guide to Standards and Tolerances and or the display home, the display home conditions will take precedence. Hopefully they did a good job on the display, use that as the precedent that way you will have a better chance of them fixing it. Cheers. Re: Henley in Melbourne 104Aug 28, 2007 9:16 pm Hey french_gal,
Sorry to hear it. Sounds like either we are lucky with the admin and site supervisor that we have been given or you are just unlucky, either way I think the advice that 'inspector' has written is a good starting point to fixing your problems and given that you are determined (and you should be, given how much you would be spending for a new home), his/her advice is (from a legal standpoint), pretty spot on. If you can manage to get a hold of a digital camera (perhaps a friend has one they can loan you), it would probably be beneficial for everyone on the blog to be able to see some of the mistakes that have been made. Best of luck from here on out!
