Hi all, first post so be kind
I'm in SA and not sure if the rules are the same all over Aus, but I've had a house designed by a local builder and got as far as buildings approval from council. As part of getting to this stage I paid a CITB levy of over $600 as part of the Preliminary Services Agreement. My question is, if I now go with a different builder to build the house, do I need to pay this again? I've had conflicting info so some clarity would be good.
Just to make myself clear, the various parts of the PSA I signed with the builder have been met - house design, footings report, council approval etc but we're not locked in beyond this to build with this builder and now wish to look at other builders - just don't think it's fair to have to pay the CITB part all over again ...
Thanks in advance, Bill
