I think our's was around $2450 for the upgrade with the 2 solar panels on the roof. Not sure exactly what system we got. Might be a Q'lander thing to get ripped No it's not. I'm Melbourne and we nearly built a M3rtricon Grandview 36 with double glazing. I'll have to pull out the old contract and have a look at exact pricing, but it was pretty . They sort of double dip... , they charge to go to awning from sliding, then charge to go to double glazing.... bloody expensive. I'll either PM you or post here when I dig up the contact and get the price. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Studio M - Energy Saving Options 10Jun 01, 2009 8:16 pm we did not get offered any energy upgrades like solar or insulation but the house we have chosen is meant to be the efficient range (Freedom) We got a copy of our contract with the final plans and there is a solar panel for the hot water we didn't realize we had. We are supposed to go to M to sign this contract on Thursday but we have requested some amendments and have not heard anything (again) Overall we are happy with them but I have to take half a day off (without pay) to sign this contract and I have a feeling the changes requested will not be done so we will end up going again Still I love our house design with all our little changes - I just need to make sure they get the kitchen right as that is where most of the issues were (35cm bench either side of my cook top,I think NOT) Land: Titles 27/10/2009 - settled 9/11/2009 House Design: Talbot 28 (Contemporary Façade) Estimated move in date April 2010 ... ok maybe June 2010 with any luck Site Start 22/01/10 - 20/08/10 Handover!! This gave me time to mull over it and spot any errors, scribble on it, make a list of questions to fire backe etc. Built Liberty 42 - Handover 26th Feb 2010 forum thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=17243 I would suggest you simply go and talk to council about your proposal, most councils are getting onboard with ancillary dwellings.
