We live in Newcastle and are about to pay our $1600 with Coral to get a fixed price. I just wondered what people paid for site & Basix costs and if they came in as first budgetted by coral? We have budgetted $30k (We are in a 1/2 bushfire zone and I have budgetted an additional $10k for this) - so $40k budgetted in total. The block is cleared and looks really flat to me, but it would have a slight fall from back to front. I am hoping we have budgetted way more than enough and will be pleasently surprised - Can anyone shed some light? From what i can remember ours was about $20 000 but this included a N3 wind rating which is more than usual Hope this helps lw Lw http://buildingfraser251withcoral.blogspot.com/ 20th May 09 Signed contracts for land 24th June 09 Land settled today "I own some dirt" 16th Aug 09 Signed Contract 20th Nov 09 Site Start 15th Jan 10 Bricks started Re: Building Coral homes Fraser 251 - We have a Start Date 34Nov 04, 2009 8:08 pm Hey thanks so much for that - I am pretty sure we are allowed way above for the site costs. What was the slope on your block? and what did you spend on retaining - this is something else that is a little bit unknown? I really appreciate your help.
