The double handling charge applies because there is no access to the block from the rear. Reason for this is there is a railway track at the rear. I can understand that. Also, at the moment, the land on both sides of the block are empty. It may not be the case when the block is being built. They said, they can put this as a provisional amount on the contract. If the land is still empty, I should get credit for the amount. However, this will expose me to additional costs should they run over this amount. Anyone with experience can give an idea if the amount would run over $2200. I would be more worried that they might just "find" a reason to go over the amount If you already have a contract, is the inspection cost stated in there? If not they would be forced to issue you a variation which you could of course object to. 12 25868 I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 13101 Is anyone building with Mojo and have a recent site cost tender 0 15953 |
