Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 30, 2009 8:24 pm Hi All, Last week we had our site start with Watersun homes we are building the Scarborough. http://www.watersunhomes.com.au/store/v ... Product=90 We've made a few minor changes to the plan which includes adding a cavity door to the theatre and a walk in pantry where the void is in the kitchen. We've gone with upgrades - high ceilings, stone benchtops and further powerpoints etc. I am feeling excited but nervous about the build and would love to have any feedback from anyone that has built with Watersun? So far we've had a good run and the customer service has been great. Here's hoping for a good build. Can you let me know if there are any problems so far ? much appreciated Eleanor Re: Anyone building with Watersun Homes - Melbourne? 4Sep 01, 2009 10:48 pm Hi, We are building with watersun homes just about up to lock up stage. I am pleased to report no major problems yet. We had an independent inspection done pre-plaster and no major problems which is a relief. Customer service is okay usually get back to me the same day or at least the next day. We had a very slow site start but they have been working hard to make up for that which has been great. Which house are they looking at building? Re: Anyone building with Watersun Homes - Melbourne? 5Feb 19, 2013 5:06 pm Hi! My wife and I built with Watersun Homes in 2012 and we can't recommend them highly enough. Super easy going people that were happy to help with the variations we wanted at the planning stage and the build started promptly, and pretty much spot on the starting time they gave us. The build was finished close to on time too, early December, and we are beyond rapt with the final product. The build is flawless, only one short delay on a splash back that was out of their control (the supplier made a mistake with their measurements) was a negative. We now have a wonderful home, and a builder we will recommend to anyone who asks. Inquire with Watersun, you won't be disappointed. Hope this helps... Hi. May i ask where are you building if you don't mind? My friend would be building with watersun by early next year. and we find their quotes to be really competitive so i am considering them as well. I haven’t. But have a Lowe Design home. Not only did I find Matt Lowe patronising and a bully, but the home is NOT TO CODE. I have water coming through the bricks… 1 14374 Wish you all the best. Once you signed the contract, they will find millions excuses to charge you. And have seen their sites unfinished for a long time. 4 24827 May I ask why you chose not to use GJ Gardiner? I'm actually meeting with one of the sales guys tomorrow for an appointment. Definitely not signing anything yet… 3 13251 |
