I am just not sure whether we'll go 200% tint or if able possibly 300% tint. It is a nice warm grey, but I prefer the same colour, only darker. Are you aware that Austral have changed the formula for Cervantes recently? If you haven't already, I would ask to see an updated sample of the brick as it differs somewhat than what is currently on display at their display centres. Not as much white - more creamy now. But that was a plus as far as we were concerned. jbarry My build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=25713 13th Oct - Offer on block 4th Dec - Settlement of block scheduled (delayed due to titles) 22nd Feb - Titles Issued 17th Mar - Land Settlement 17th Mar - Pre-start meeting Re: Facade Render Colour - Please post a photo with colour n 23Mar 03, 2010 5:11 pm jbarry Hi Bagheera Same combo as us - we are going to use Austral Cervantes and Lundy Grey Render. The slightly darker section on the front most bedroom is 100% strength, and the rest of the house is quarter strength. Using colourbond surfmist for roof, gutters and fascias (although fascias not painted yet). I'm thrilled with how it turned out =) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Facade Render Colour - Please post a photo with colour n 25Mar 04, 2010 12:55 am jbarry Are you aware that Austral have changed the formula for Cervantes recently? We had our bricks delivered today, and, from memory, they look much different to the Cervantes used in the Nautilus display. They appear to be more like Telfer. Any idea? The builders render the top floor while the scaffolding is up. I think we are a while away before the render is fully complete for the whole house. There will also be another colour introduced when they do the ground floor, that will be Taubmans Beaver Creek. We have gone for a 3 render colour scheme. Here is a sample of the colours we are using that I painted on our wall. And below that is a sample of the metallic tile we will be using on our feature wall. We are looking at tiling the two front columns of our house with a tiles called 'Metallic Deck'. Did you get your Builder to tile the wall or you doing it yourself. I have to choose my facade colours next week. I really wanted light garage door and roof- either Surfmist or Dune but the render needs to be darker than these.
