Should we wait to sign the building contract until after the colour appointment? They'll just add your selections as a PCV (post contract variation). If you are concerned about spending more at selections and it not being in the contract you forward to the bank for finance reasons, get them to add an allowance into your contract for say 5k or 10k or whatever you think you may spend. We wanted to know what we were up for ($$) with everything before we signed anything. This also gave us time to add/delete things before Contract.
