Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 21, 2009 11:19 pm Hi all, I have paid a deposit with * and am up to the prestart stage, although at this point im not sure if I want to build with them as their addons are a rip-off! Also the contract states 350 to build which is crap to say the least. Anyway I was wondering if anyone has built or is building with Redink Homes as The "Custom 5000" looks very inticing to me. Any input would be greatly appreciated Cheers Re: Redink Homes (Perth) 6May 22, 2009 8:26 pm I think they have more than what's on their website. Maybe make an appointment to go in. When I went in they pulled them all out and wrote the prices on for me to take away and study. My tac-home-ter: Been in 8 months! Re: Redink Homes (Perth) 8May 24, 2009 1:21 pm I found Kathleen who is building with redink in the kitchen corner forum. viewtopic.php?t=18080 And also siegestrike viewtopic.php?f=31&t=18028&start=0&hilit=redink BUILT with Homebuyer's Centre - Aussie Alfresco Games viewtopic.php?f=31&t=16668 Moved In - Dec 14th Painting all but done - Jan 11 Front Landscaping - Feb 8 Moved In PICS Page 43 Re: Redink Homes (Perth) 11May 26, 2009 12:17 pm Hi, I just signed up with Redink Homes using the Custom 5000 as the template They are priced very well as a base. Just PM me what sort of information you are looking for. I am delayed at the moment as the Sales person whom i was dealing with has suddenly left. They have reassigned me with a new sales person but the process is taking longer than molasses. Actually, I had to ring them up to find out what is going on. I've already lost 2 weeks and will have to spend more time getting the new Sales person up to speed. Sigh....such is life.... Re: Redink Homes (Perth) 12May 30, 2009 12:20 am well I got my quote back from Redink today and all I can say is... what an absolute ripoff! The extras that this salesman wanted to charge me were the most I have ever heard of. Im thinking I might see another salesman and see what they think... Re: Redink Homes (Perth) 15Jun 01, 2009 8:42 am I am building with C#ollier Homes, and have had no hassle whatsoever. My sales guy was Iain, and he was great. Came to see me on Thursday, heard what kind of design I liked, and by Sunday had sketched it up for me, and we were already on the road to building a house!! I am up to the stage of the roof trusses finished, and this week the electrician and plumber are in to do their bit. My first talk with Iain was on November 22, so it hasn't been a long process at all. If you haven't signed with anyone, give C#ollier Homes and Iain a go, and see what they come up with. Built the Driftwood with C*ollier Homes Moved in 8 November 2009 Slowly getting organised ..... Re: Redink Homes (Perth) 18Sep 02, 2009 10:45 pm the guy at redink told me he gets very limited commission on the custom 5000, hence the addons are very pricey.... nope, i'm not kidding... the amount of salesguys who mention their wallet is ridiculous. the base house is terrific value as investment, unfortunately requires a lot of tweaking to get it up to 'standard'. nice customer service though, good followup service... can't say too many bad things about them at all... just really the addon prices. Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 76252 I would never build with Fowler homes.
