Subaru? If there was a silver Subaru there that would have been my brother and his partner. Is that what you mean? How is your build going? Any news? We discovered on Thursday that the wrong shower screens have been installed. I've emailed the builder but no response as yet. That's a bit awkward! Hopefully not too much longer till we move in. Your house must be ready, bar the screens now. He said that he went past Yesterday. The house is pretty much completed although there are a few cosmetic bits and pieces that need to be fixed up. I'm guessing a few more weeks until we're in. Every week we're not in the house, we're saving more money so it's not too much of a bother. I'm really happy with it and for the price, can't go wrong! After this picture was taken the edges of the painting were painted in black. It should look good on the wall. I also had a thick velvet curtain made up in Thailand for the bar window. Again, $200 aussie dollars and it looks a million dollars. No chance that sun light is going to get through it. Can i ask what you paid... going to have the same colour - love it. I got a quote of $2k for 3 rooms plus sitting room..fully installed with underlay - just wondering if its a good price compared to others... Just a quick question. Did you take up the Home Theatre package? I wanted to know if you'd made a decision on the size of the screen. I think our electricals said it was a 94". Is that big enough? I know you're not in yet but I thought you may have made a decision on that. Thanks!! I'm going for a 110" but I think 94" will be fine. We are almost in. Just waiting for PCI which should be any day now. Nothing major but the painters were already on to it today. I still haven't heard back from the builder but I'm thinking maybe PCI on Friday? I start a new job on Monday and I run a business on the side (as does Sarah), so as of Monday, I am going to be working 60+ hours a week. Going to be very interesting times! Unfortunately I don't have any new pictures as I have been working 60+ hour weeks, but I do have some goods news. PCI is booked in for Friday. We do have quite a few small bits and pieces that I already know need to be fixed so I'd expect handover within 2 weeks or so from PCI. Hopefully everything goes to plan. It was "interesting". I was really rushed through it but I'm happy that I stuck my ground (as much as I could). There were a lot of small paint blemishes which were already picked up by the independent inspector, but they just went either untouched or they had a ******* patch over. Luckily there was nothing major that we noticed. Just lots of little things. All the excuses that were made during the build process now need to be fixed. I guess we'll see what does get fixed. I'm told that it will be around 2 weeks until we'll have handover. Let's hope that is the case. Has anyone else felt a bit sh1tty after their PCI?
