Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Our one off build in Point Cook - PCI completed 241Jul 25, 2010 6:22 pm Well it's been just over 2 weeks since we've had PCI. I have tried to get in touch with the builder on 5 occasions over the past 2 weeks, and everytime the CSO has been out of the office or on another call. I have left messages each and every time and not a single reply. I went past the house today and it doesn't look like a great deal has been going on. Looks like it will be another 2 weeks until we have pre-handover inspection, and I already know that they've taken stickers or repaired some items that simply don't meet my standards so that will probably be another 2-4 weeks. I guess we should be in the house by September with some luck? We can get in contact with them but they haven't Bern fixing things properly. Just keep redoing it over and over! Good luck. Fingers crossed they will get themselves into gear and do it quickly. Let's hope that's what we get. There really wasn't much to get fixed but it seems that it's just dragging on. We are meeting again with the builder next week and hopefully everything has been fixed to an acceptable standard. 8 months since the build started. They weren't joking about taking 9 months. I don't have any pics as I'm on wireless internet until our ADSL is connected (hopefully this week) but I'll get some up ASAP. The house has come up really well. The builder on the other hand has been absolutely useless and just full of ******. That's a whole nother story which I sure will be getting into in depth. I would never build with Hermitage Homes again! Pics and more info to come (once I have a stable internet connection). We are in the house. It's been about a month or so since we've moved in and we're only just starting to catch up on our lives. I'm currently working around 60 hour weeks and then moving everything, sorting, setting up etc. is just taking up any extra time we've had. Hermitage Homes have * THROUGH THEIR TEETH and I will be sure to write all about that when I have a bit more time. This is right up there on my to do list. Anywayz... Some pictures. Luckily my brothers partner (male) is a handyman and is SUPER handy for all the small fix ups, decking, gardens etc. He's just started up on his own so we've got him booked in for around a months worth of work which should get everthing looking good. Some pictures.
