Stage 1 sales started quite a while back (late last year I guess).. I am not sure about the current availability but something worth considering is the design guideline which requires construction to commence within 2 years of title. You had mentioned that you are not a first home buyer hence if you're planning to just buy a lot and wait for a long time then it might be issue. Cheers, Sam Re: Calling everyone who's planning to build at Karinya pt cook 27Jun 12, 2009 1:41 pm Thanks Boisefish & Sam, everyone is telling different things at Simonds. But we asked Rob-Point Cook Town centre,he advised its fine to get it installed from outside.....seems will not be a Big issue. Damm!!!! just got to know..CBA raising Interest rate.... hey anyone else was installing Solar PV system...we missed on the grant... All Bad news..... Re: Calling everyone who's planning to build at Karinya pt cook 29Jun 12, 2009 2:23 pm We are building the Valencia as displayed at the feather brook display centre. We've had our site tests done and lots of clay was found but no rock at all! We're Lot 16 Japonica Way (stage 1 of Karinya). Our site fees came back at $0 (NOTHING), however due to all the clay, we have had to go up to a HD waffle slab which cost $2,000 more than a class P. I hope everyone else has as much luck on their blocks as we've had! Thank you I'm not an expert but based on our price increase of $5,975 for a single story house (albeit 41sq's), I guess that $10,580 is reasonable for a double story with guard rails and what not. Re: Calling everyone who's planning to build at Karinya pt cook 38Jul 27, 2009 11:10 pm I would be asking for a break down in costs for $11,000. Have you seen the soil report? Unless your soil report is significantly different to mine, I don't know why yours should be $11,000. I'm frustrated! grrrrrrr Our house thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=18335 Re: Calling everyone who's planning to build at Karinya pt cook 40Jul 29, 2009 9:43 am We're signed up with Inspired Homes, who build through Hermitage Homes.
