Any one can buy a few bags of insulation material from Bunnings, month mask, a long stick with nail/hook attached to one end, hammer, some nails and long strings to hold the materials, and that's about it. But there's also the dark side about DIY before plaster walls started: health/safety concern, insurance if anything goes wrong, site supervisor has every right to kick you out, how do you know if the areas near power points/eletrical stuffs been installed correctly, ....etc. Also have a look at this post my blog below, if the brick cleaner were arranged before some ceiling/wall not completed, it might be a disaster.
