Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 19, 2009 8:50 pm Hello... I am new on this forum so hope I'm posting at the right place .... We are about to move in to our new house (in 2 weeks' time). We are in the midst of letterbox hunting. We know what letterbox we would like - the stainless steel wall mounted ones like this... Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Does anyone know where I can find this wooden frame product in Melbourne? I've driven past Point Cook and saw that a few houses had them, so they must be available around here.... somewhere. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Southies.... mind if I ask what did you 'google' for? I'm just stumped for words to describe this other than calling it a 'frame'. If I approached to Bunnings like IkonInteriors suggested, what would I be asking for? Thanks! Re: Letterbox help 6May 20, 2009 7:15 am I googled 'letterbox '. Well when you look at the whole thing, it's not a frame but a letterbox. IT just happens that the letterbox is attached to a 'frame' . When googling, you've got to ask yourself what would the website 'describe' it as - a frame or a letterbox ? The website, OutVogue only makes the frame and attaches the letterboxes on them. Their prices are only for the frames, letterboxes are separate, so you can pretty much order whatever design letterbox you want from them or buy it somewhere else. Like Bella19 said, there are a few designs on eBay for sale, and they have the newspaper holder. Hi there, long-time lurker but first time posting. I've bought a house 2 and a bit years ago and last year we had some major water damage on a converted pergola area… 0 7931 Yes, unless you are in a low intensity rainfall area or the area is protected from rain. Do you have access to NCC Part 2 or can you download it? I can email you a copy… 10 12511 Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7158 |
