Just a question regarding builders invoices... we are now up to stage 5 (internal linings and kitchen), and so far, 3 out of 4 invoives have been almost 10K under what the payment schedule dictates - just wondering if this has happened to anyone else?? I'm guessing that the builder will just have one big fat bill at the end, so they get all the money in the contract, but what does this mean... is it that each stage is costing less than they thought?? Or did they always know it would be this way, and the extra is just profit??? What are your thoughts??? You can really use anything you want the main consideration would be how it looks once painted/finished - or the look you want.
