Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 19, 2009 3:38 pm Hiya, Can anyone let me know of any new display villages either just open or about to open in the near future? We've been to a lot of the old ones and now just want to find the newer ones. Also, if anyone knows of any display homes with grey tones rather than the usual brown tones that would be great. We want to have a black kitchen with white benchtop but obviously it's not very popular because there's hardly any diplays that have it. -------------------------------------- Building Sanctuary with Boutique Homes Williams Landing Re: Display Villages - any new ones? 2May 19, 2009 4:05 pm Hi there, This thread can help abit with regards to some new display villages opening up: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=17497&p=221454&hilit=display+village#p221454 With regards to the recommendations of display homes with grey tones, I cant really help you there. I was there on the weekend and there was a million... or maybe a trillion... display homes to look at - all just built. And I did remember there was quite a few with grey tones. Especially the new Urbanedge homes. I think the Urbanedge Ludo on display had a glossy white kitchen with black painted walls - the whole house was black/white/grey - very nice. As far as the majors go, they tend to use grey, charcoal and black more often in their displays. PD very, very rarely go that way and neither do Simonds. M3tricon at Reflections at Tarneit have a couple of displays in those tones, the Lumeah and one other. The Grandview at Caroline Springs has an almost black kitchen (Jet Black bench, Asian Night cabinetry) and the Soho there has a black and white kitchen. The Talbot at Craigieburn uses a lot of charcoal. The Logan at Lyndhurst has a black and white kitchen. I can't think off the top of my head of a white benchtop with black cupbaords though. I was going to have a black kitchen at one point so I was also trying to find displays with it. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Do you know if the Cascades display village has all their displays open? It's a fair drive from Point Cook so I'd prefer to wait for them all to be open before taking the trek down there! -------------------------------------- Building Sanctuary with Boutique Homes Williams Landing A question. Im in Queensland and building a new home. We managed to reach practical completion 6 weeks ago but we haven't heard any date for handover yet. Who should we… 0 5805 i had the my concreters concrete right up to the fence. I have pits all along my path, so the water tends to drain away from the house and into the pits.
