Hope this helps, I am sure it should be documente somewhere what is included in each stage. cheers Re: Fixing stage? 4May 18, 2009 7:53 pm Yes kitchen should be included in fix. we are selling and moving to the coast, if you know someone who wishes to buy in Mernda Villages, please visit this link http://www.realestate.com.au/property-h ... -107083288 Re: Fixing stage? 5May 18, 2009 7:56 pm This is from the PD 24/7 website but can give you an idea. Fixing is the next step which includes hanging all internal doors, fixing architraves and skirting boards, and in some cases installing shelving (some shelving may be left out for ease of painting). When this is complete the “Fixing Stage” is complete. Note: Excludes bench tops and baths. We got our fix invoice last week and no painting had been done, it started about 2 days later with the tiles starting next week after all the painting is complete. So they may send early, mine was early too, but they are quite flexible, i called and told them that things are not completed, and they are ok to hold until I discussed with SS. i only paid my fixing invoice 6 weeks after i received it. We recevied our fixing stage invoice with an incomplete kitchen and we were told that even though the list of things to be done by fixing stage was incomplete, they had done 85% of the work and therefore could claim the fixing stage anyway. Our kitchen was finished within 2 days of getting the invoice anyway... The hard part that I find with % work complete is that I don't actually know if 85% of the job has been done - and when I asked they felt that saying "yeah, it's up to 85%" was sufficient, rather than explaining that "though the kitchen isn't done, we have gone ahead and completed x & y and that's why we're claiming 85%" My blog: http://artstitcheshome.blogspot.com Thanks for much mate. I see that you do cabinets before flooring. For timber flooring, for most parts it's fine because it's got base plates, and for door jabs you can… 7 11486 I'll look into different shower heads and ask the plumber about some engineering and see what he says.
