Re: mr smith&mrs_smiths building adventures-update pg10-UH OH!!! 202Jan 23, 2010 9:48 pm leaks what a bugger... oh well the upside is it wasn't a small leak that took years to find. Kitchen looks great. Where you are coming from is where you are going to... Re: mr smith&mrs_smiths building adventures-update pg10-UH OH!!! 203Jan 24, 2010 8:25 am Good news about the response time. I wonder where it is leaking from???? The cabinets guys punched a hole in our kitchen pipe when they installed the cupboards. The SS will make sure it gets repaired properly. Re: mr smith&mrs_smiths building adventures-update pg10-UH OH!!! 204Jan 25, 2010 1:11 pm Well they have disconnected the water lines but as far as I know it hasn't been fixed yet. Mr smith thinks it's coming from one of the pipes in the ensuite and they have over-tightened one of the taps (cracking one tile too) and maybe cracked a join or something. Not that I'm worried They'll fix it Re: mr smith&mrs_smiths building adventures-update pg10-UH OH!!! 206Jan 28, 2010 12:13 pm There's a nice big hole in our spa bricks now so the plumber has been in The cleaners are also in now! AND we've been an estimate date for the PCI: 9/2!!!! (But I won't be in Perth then, I'd have to wait until 19/2). We are very excited though. Not much longer to go! We better hurry up and choose the internal colours for after handover! Re: mr smith&mrs_smiths building adventures-update pg11-Est PCI! 207Jan 28, 2010 12:41 pm Wow!! Thats soon soon viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22766 - my build thread! Time waits for no man. Unless that man is Chuck Norris. Re: mr smith&mrs_smiths building adventures-update pg11-Est PCI! 208Jan 31, 2010 10:26 pm So you are delaying PCI so that you can be here to do it with Mr Smith? Wow I would be too excited to wait that long. How did the house clean go? Did they do a good job? We have ours starting tomorrow. Re: mr smith&mrs_smiths building adventures-update pg11-Est PCI! 209Feb 02, 2010 7:53 pm Had a bit of a disappointment. They won't hold of the PCI for when I'll be there. It's too far after the 5 days in the HIA contract. Stupid contract..... They've been really flexible so far with my R&R until now... BUT we haven't got a date yet. 9/2 was the estimate and that's a week away. And if the 19/2 is too far away from the date we don't know it must mean it's near the 9/2. We really need to be told soon as if mr smith is going he needs at least 1 weeks notice for his work, so I've emailed and asked to be given a date or range of dates ASAP. Also, my work will try to process the change of flights so I can take a day in Perth and go into the Perth office if I have at least a week notice too so I can go. So I really, really hope that I can a date more than a week away!!! Re: mr smith&mrs_smiths building adventures-update pg11-Garage 210Feb 04, 2010 9:28 am Our garage is up!
