We did have some modifications but we only got our 1st tender variation documents#1 sent out to us (mail) on 07/05/09 for signing and so we hurriedly gave it back to them the following day so not to cause any delays. Maybe its the BASIX thats causing the delay coz a friend told us that they had some problem with the waterboard approval... When did you sign the contract with them??? Coz I think we havent even got up to that stage yet. Nothing in writing to tell us about the building time frame and other important stuff that I think we should know... We're hoping to hear from them soon... HAPPY BUILDING!!! We signed our contract on 15dec08, out of council first week jan. then 20 days from there had site scrape done. We are currently at bricking stage which should be finished TODAY!!! SS advised 8 weeks from here. I cant believe they are going so fast. They honestly, have been great!! Keep us updated on your progress!! I have heard that the BASIX can take a while too. Maybe that is the hold up! crossed fingers once thats all sorted it will be full steam ahead!! Hi mellybuilding How are youse going??? I emailed my cso last week (13/05/09) and got a reply on the same day just to get an update about our plan approval and she said that they were just waiting for the hydraulics to finalise the plans and lodge to council. Still waiting for the good news from them this week coz its been a very long time waiting...Anybody had any issues with hydraulics??? How about Blacktown Councils approval time line??? yeah good thanks!! everything still going pretty smoothly. brickies ran out of bricks on friday. only a little bit left to finish. Plaster to be arriving today and is going up on wednesday. We spent the weekend cabling the house for home theatre and alarm systems and garden lights etc. Um what are the hydraulics for??? Just send another email to them. keep the pressure on them a little bit:). Always polite of course!! but just letting them know you are there, and waiting tapping your foot.
