If you moved the ensuite and WIR around you wouldn't have as much buffer between the rooms. If you do what Borg says would you be only placing some of the hallway in the bedroom? If it was me I would probly make the Living room into a theatre room, extending the entryway. enclosing half the part labled dining into the family/kitchen room. If you did that you could maybe even have a huge WIP next to the kitchen where it says Meals. Something to think about i guess. My house is east facing Family & living are on North Side I was also thinking of having a TV on the North Family wall Please suggest for windows Re: please comment on the floor plan 12May 13, 2009 11:57 pm Hi Simpson, Looks like a great plan with plenty of space! Regarding windows and orientation, we were faced with a similar problem as the northern wall of our living area is only 900mm away from the boundary fence (not particularly attractive outlook if you put big windows there) and we too wanted to put our TV on that wall. We opted to have 2 windows that are 1800mm wide and only 500mm tall, the top of them will be at the same height as the other windows in the house (2100mm) which allowed us to put the TV unit and TV underneath. We wanted to still take advantage of northern orientation but keep the functionality of the room. Unfortunately our house has not been built yet so I can't show any pics but we are hoping that it will look as good in real life as it does in our minds Cheers - Jon Jon Builing our First Home in Ridgehaven SA https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=23429&p=316543#p316543 Hi, Seeking volume or semi-custom builder in victoria(east), which have existing double story wide floor plans.
