I remember you were having trouble deciding...) I bet you can't wait to move in, did I read that'll happen in the next couple of days? so exciting! Quick question, how high are your overhead kitchen cabinets from the kitchen bench? 600mm or 700mm? I love the fact that the cupboards and the rangehood are in line but our kitchen place has told us that by Australian Standards the rangehood has to be 700mm of the stove (if it's gas) and since I am a shorty 700mm height is a bit too much for me... Just curious if everyone else had the 700mm rule for their rangehood over the gas stove... BTW I never knew Marshall Baker did double storeys?? They never had oany on display did they? Or is this a Formula design? Thanks everyone again for the lovely comments. Thanks S&P. MB did do two storey, they only had single storey displays. Donuts, not sure what will go in the niches as yet. Something to think about once we have moved now that I don't have to think about building anymore. Jochico, the rangehood is 650 high. I'm not sure what the standards are but the builder assured me this was the right height so that's what we have. Well I'm signing off now. Still packing boxes and expecting removalists at 8am tomorrow. Hopefully be back on line by Friday. I am so excited, it's such a nice feeling. Thanks again for all the nice comments and support during this build, much appreciated. Back soon.
