We had our letterbox stolen within the first couple of months we moved in, which really surprised us. We've been in Devonia Park for just over a year now and love it. Very exciting to have the train station running now and the shopping centre is moving along. Can't wait for that to open too. The Soho 2800 looks a great plan. Most people seem to have a reasonably smooth build with Burbank. Re: Devonia Park at Lakeside Pakenham 771Jun 17, 2012 9:03 am catjim Welcome Mark. We are renting in Devonia Park at the moment, its great area that will have some fantastic infrastructure once completed. Burbank have been very good to deal with so far, very modified Soho 2800 the custom home department will build soon. LIVING THE DREAM! Re: Devonia Park at Lakeside Pakenham 772Jul 08, 2012 9:19 pm Hi all, My name is John and my fiance and I are currently building in Devonia Park (hope to be in by the end of August). We are looking at the broadband/telephone services that the Open networks are offering on their website that run on the fibre optic cables. Currently their is Internode, Fuze Connect and Club Telco. Any suggestions on which one are more reliant based on your experiences? (so far the reviews have been mixed between Club Telco and Internode and I couldnt find any on Fuze Connect). We like the sound of the deals that Internode currently have. Thanks heaps. John Re: Devonia Park at Lakeside Pakenham 773Jul 08, 2012 9:27 pm Hi John We've been with Internode for more than a year and haven't had any problems. Most of our neighbours are also with them. I run a home office and I have both the home and office phones using VOIP as well as internet through Internode. Much cheaper than the old lines through Telstra. We are looking forward to moving into Devonia Park. Some of the reviews have been mixed some say they cut out quite a bit and others say they are excellent. Re: Devonia Park at Lakeside Pakenham 775Jul 10, 2012 12:29 pm Is anyone living up near that big park at the top of Devonia Park? Can anyone tell me if it is a quiet estate? I am looking forward moving in there TBH every time we drive there it seems so calm and peaceful. Re: Devonia Park at Lakeside Pakenham 776Jul 10, 2012 1:36 pm We are near the smaller park closer to the shopping centre to be but yes, it's pretty quiet in Devonia Park. Love it Re: Devonia Park at Lakeside Pakenham 777Jul 10, 2012 3:51 pm catjim We are near the smaller park closer to the shopping centre to be but yes, it's pretty quiet in Devonia Park. Love it Is that the one near the small townhouses/units? (Still not sure which parks are which lol). I mean near Dusselldorp Avenue.. I have noticed that there quite a few cottages in Devonia Park.. Some nice looking ones too. I remember when we signed all the paperwork the person we dealt with at the land sales office said they were happy to have that mixture of Cottage/ modern design. That's good about the noise level. I hate where we live ATM as it gets noisy, even on the weekend. Any word on what the shops might be? I know Woolies is going there. (Means I wont have to go to Pakenham Market Place Any good Cafe nearby? I have been to the one next to the land sale office and that seems just a tad small for my liking. I think it's called Apple Orchard Park between Park Orchard Drive & Bluestone Street. We are a street off to the side. I know you are meaning the big one with the small oval. Going by the signage there's a few shops other than Woolies. Keep meaning to call into the sales office to look at the plans. Think there will be a cafe or two. I tend to shop at Coles at Heritage Springs. That's my preferred supermarket at the moment until ours is up and running. I go to the Market Place if the weather is bad. Have you started building yet?
