Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 02, 2009 10:25 pm Hi,
We received a letter from Wincrest advising our home is "close" to practical completion (we haven't done our inspection with them yet) and thus claiming the final payment. Can anyone advise whether we can withhold this payment until they have fixed up some outstanding items? Ex-wincrest customers, please help. We also have an ongoing dispute with them yet to be resolved. we don't want to pay this final payment until we both reach an agreement. Is this right? You can send private message to me. Thanks, Re: Practical Completion with Wincrest???? Urgent help please 2May 02, 2009 10:28 pm I guess you have to consider what is the value of the outstanding items (your risk) and how much you trust them.
