Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 02, 2009 11:12 am Hello, This is my first visit to the forum. A little about me.. My name is Renee & with my husband & 2 darling children we are about to embark on building a Porter Davis Illoura 33. We are building in Harrisons View & expect building to start in July. I have read with interest all of your blogs etc & it inspired me to register here & ask for for dome help. Right now we are picking colours & bricks etc. I will update you all on what we have decided as we progress. To avoid any surprised I wonder if anyone can advise us of the following information. 1. Can someone give me an estimate on upgrading to 'Off White' Mortar (single story house) 2. Can someone advise of estimate how much it is to have mortar flush with bricks 3. Can someone point me in the direction of anyone who can photos hop our exterior colour choices? Thanks & look forward to hearing from you all! I would love to read about your house, have you got a thread on here or a blog? Also do you know how to upload pics? This is how I do it. You need to make an account with www.photobucket.com Once you're a member you can upload photos onto your account. Once the photo is uploaded, if you put your mouse on the photo, 4 options will come up on how to put photos on blogs/threads/forums etc. Choose the 4th option, copy it. Then come back to this thread and paste it. Thats all you have to do. GIve it a go! Maybe your photos are already within the size requirement so you didn't notice? Mine are always 4 times the size of the screen so I have to resize them lol.
