We're going to use the front 'sitting' room as a study not exactly sure how we will do it just perhaps add a sliding door like they have at the point cook display. We were quoted about $6.5k for the grand alfresco and dining room extension. A few items we have not been quoted on yet are things like the double vanity to the ensuite. What changes have you made to the house? Did M sting you an arm and a leg? Cheers! Re: All signed up and READY TO GO :) - M3tricon Santorini 29 10May 14, 2009 5:33 pm Ohh I noticed in another thread you added the ensuite from the Lumeah did you get much resistence doing that? Would much rather like yourself to have a toilet in its own room :p Re: All signed up and READY TO GO :) - M3tricon Santorini 29 13May 15, 2009 2:51 pm sorry everyone for the SLACKNESS of my replies!!! Zerosignal Hi Aimeh, My partner and I are looking at the Santorini 29 from ***** as well now. Cheers! We have made quite a few changes, and havent recieved a prelim contract yet to give you an idea of pricing difference however we where definately slogged with the $1500 variation fee. We changed the rumpus into an outdoor room and widened the hallway. we also get the okay to have the lumeah ensuite in the santorini from our sales rep however when it came to draw the plans it was no good so they are currently working on a design for us that meets our specs - twin basins, tiles shower base and seperate toilet. as long as its functional and not too pokie we will be fine. we have also changed the sitting room to a study/spare room and have added plaster and a door to enclose it. we have alllllso enclosed the plaster wall with the cutout as we persoanlly dont like the look. i think thats about all our changes!!! hope it helps! we are getting our info back in around 2 weeks so will be sure to update then! I am going to see fi we can make any modifications to the kitchen layout too, as im really not so keen on the microwave inside the island bench idea...however there doesnt seem to be an alternative exept on the bech....which I also dont like!!! Are they in the standard range? We're you happy with your choices? We recently decided to build a Santorini as well - look forward to watching your one go up. Re: All signed up and READY TO GO :) - M3tricon Santorini 29 16May 23, 2009 7:39 pm nope NONE where standard! BUT we do really like them! the only standard tiles that we have selected are a plain white tile in the laundry. we are really happy with our choices, it was good because a lot of our selections where the same or similar to the ones in our loacl display home. we plan on going back to make sure we are happy with they way they will look inside the house. and ofcourse take them to studio m...which could prove challenging as we have already got a few textures to contend with. anyway, best of luck with your build! where/when are you thinking of building? i love the santorini - it has a great floor plan! Going to take the Coastal Facade for now - going to travel to Geelong to have a look at the one on display (we really liked the colour scheme of the front). Hope they don't charge to much for indoor tile upgrades or that we find something in the standard range that we like. Re: All signed up and READY TO GO :) - M3tricon Santorini 29 18Jun 08, 2009 2:51 pm okay so we had our studio m and lifestyle national appointments on friday it was a HUGE day but we had a great time selecting everything and we are really happy! cannnt wait for it to all flow from here!!! i am going to complete a colour selection sheet once i have all the right details...there are way too many shades of white to remember which is which and where!!! i have also tried to attach some pics but an error message has come up saying that the board quota has been reached...any suggestions?! Any surprises with pricing alone long way???..... not so far! we have been really impressed with the sales manager in w/bool. we are only at the begining really, but he was more then happy to provide us with quotes and pricing and even came up with some great ideas as add ons etc. i have also heard that the site manager for our area is really approchable and easy going as far as the building goes! what house are you thinking of building? and where abouts? actually in town or? the display home here is stunning isnt it! but be aware that all those extras do come at a price Building our FIRST HOME - M3tricon Santorini 29 on 2 acres just West of Warrnambool Sorry!
