Tiling in progress... Re: Wisdom Aspiration 35 @ The Ponds 25May 09, 2009 11:03 pm Somehow I was in the same boat. I just couldnt decide on the tiles. I then decided to go with neutral colors because I can always dress the walls and play with furnishing colors. Re: Wisdom Aspiration 35 @ The Ponds 26May 09, 2009 11:08 pm Great to see your slab up MKTodd! So, so exciting! I agree with you princepessa and ZZZ, the tiles selection is just so hard, and more because the tiles availability changes so often, twice we have chosen tiles that a month later have been taken off their stock! Re: Wisdom Aspiration 35 @ The Ponds 28May 10, 2009 6:27 pm Yeah we went in over the weekend to pick tiles, told we had to give them our selections in a few weeks.. Have had some trouble though as the ones we originally liked for the floor in bathroom and laundry we couldnt find. Were going to go back to see if they still have it in stock (left the code at home). We have chosen main living floor tiles and wall tiles for bathroom but still need to select those floor tiles and our feature tile for bathrooms. Yeah are hoping to see the start of a frame this week! They have done the storm water plumbing around the house, levelled the soil and we have a fence around our block now. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Building the Aspiration 35MKII with Wisdom ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://pondsaspiration.blogspot.com/ Re: Wisdom Aspiration 35 @ The Ponds 29May 14, 2009 5:16 pm By the weekend we had our fence up, the land have been levelled and all the storm water pipes around the house were put in.. but since the weekend its just sat there were hoping to see a frame this week, especially with the good weather but unfortunately not. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Building the Aspiration 35MKII with Wisdom ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://pondsaspiration.blogspot.com/ Re: Wisdom Aspiration 35 @ The Ponds 30May 14, 2009 7:34 pm Oh... that's a shame MKTodd, had they said the frames would go up this week? maybe they want to ensure the slab is nice and dry... Hopefully next week. It's great building weather at the moment that's for sure! Building a Wisdom Prosperity 23 - http://erwisdomprosperity.blogspot.com/ Re: Wisdom Aspiration 35 @ The Ponds 31May 15, 2009 3:45 pm heh heh - ive been driving past every day to see how its all going on your lot and the other few on Bather St and was also expecting the frames to have been put up. DH said i needed to be patient for they were probably waiting for the slab to dry. I feeeeel your impatience! Ours is still at council and will push for it next week. Re: Wisdom Aspiration 35 @ The Ponds 32May 16, 2009 5:32 pm Our frame got delivered today!! and we finally selected our tiles today. Have just gone an Ivory through out the house. The bathrooms are a chocolate floor with white gloss on the walls and we have a feature tile for our shower niches and a strip to run down the bath. This is a glass deco tile in a few different shades of brown and a matching blue~ bit hard to describe. Zzz yeah its amazing how quick some of them are going up in the street! There is one (single storey facing the creek) which has in the last week had the frame up and is half bricked! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Building the Aspiration 35MKII with Wisdom ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://pondsaspiration.blogspot.com/ Re: Wisdom Aspiration 35 @ The Ponds 33May 16, 2009 5:56 pm Congrats on the frame delivery!! You tile selection sounds the same as what we looked at when we were there a few weeks ago sussing everything out - even the feature tile sounds like the one we liked! Did you take any pics of the tiles while you were there? Looking forward to some pics once there is some action next week Re: Wisdom Aspiration 35 @ The Ponds 34May 16, 2009 6:03 pm yay! frames delivered, sounds like they will go up on Monday! great news. Re: Wisdom Aspiration 35 @ The Ponds 38May 20, 2009 11:09 am ZZZ Do you think they will work today because of the rain? Not sure, we hope but probably not due to how heavy it was overnight. Bit of a shame We went out last night and they had pretty much finished the bottom floor and had been putting in the divider between the two levels. it would be nice if they keep working so when we have good weather they can start bricking, dont want the frame getting too much water on it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Building the Aspiration 35MKII with Wisdom ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://pondsaspiration.blogspot.com/ Re: Wisdom Aspiration 35 @ The Ponds 39May 21, 2009 4:17 pm Wow Wow Wow!
