Then nothing much has happened until today. Day 55 bottom level is wrapped. So we're now 1/2 wrapped and 1/2 roofed. Looks like they're also starting the plumbing ruff-in as there are timber noggins around the place. Looks odd as everything else is steel. Really hoping to see some brickwork and/or some windows. Was surpised to see the piping on the outside of the wrapping. Is that normal? Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Today the top level gable went in...looks quite neat...however it's not quite right..the backing sheet should be black and the timbers paperbark but looks like they painted the lot paperbark. I think it looks a bit plain without the black on the back sheet. What a grand entry way! Have you decided on entry/front hall way lighting or have you gone for donwlights throughout? Is the front door colour as is already? (i.e. no protective covering, no painting to be done to it)...I know it sounds like a silly question... How far did you extend the garage out? We are also getting our garage extended, and I am a bit nervous about the price that M might come back with. Get jabbed because we've got the 2.550 ceilings + steel frames + rendered..oh and that included the extra roller door at the back..each of these gets put into the price of the garage aswell We wanted the "workshop extension" option but it was almost 7k which was insane so we said give us as wide as 4k buys us and that's what we got. We really want a workbench area in the garage and the little extra space to have the full sized garage door at the back. I'd imagine with the stain you're going for, the door is going to look pretty handsome and striking! OOOoooo....I'm envious of anyone who can get their garage extended even if it's by 500-800mm.....we wanted a longer, wider garage (not necessarily to accommodate a workbench) only just cos' I'm the sort of idiot who parks a medium sized sedan as if it were the size of a Hummer. But we were already constrained by the drainage easement which restricted our house design to that of a skinny long house so no chance of fattening up the garage Building thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22917 27.07.09 Contract signed. 08.09.09 Site scraped. 18.09.09 Slab completed! 23.11.09 Bricking done 09.03.10 - Tiling 15.04.10 PCI 01.05.10 Handover Re: Liberty 42 - Day 62 - Front Door! - new pics 30/9 77Oct 02, 2009 8:13 am Northbound..awesome..I didn't have the budget or the space (without needing a relaxation) to go that big.
