So, after almost 10mths of nothing but agony following the settlement of our land (long story!), we now have plans lodged with the estate developer for first-approval. BUT, they don't like our colours and think the brick and roof are too dark. Initially they advised the builder they wanted a lighter brick, but are now happy to compromise with a lighter roof.
Problem is my husband is definite on the brick, so he says go the lighter roof. I'm not convinced on a lighter roof and think we should change the brick, maybe to austral impressions slate grey. But then I'm not very creative and have problems visualing, whereas he works in the building industry and looks at houses all day!

Looking for opinions!! Husband is sick of this dragging on for soooo long (same), but don't want to have people driving past my house saying "look at that ugly house!"
